Prior to passing the bar, Chris attended Tulane University Law School and earned his Juris Doctor with honors and a Certificate in Maritime Law in 2012.  While in Law School, he served as an intern for Justice Greg Guidry of the Louisiana Supreme Court and extern for the Hon. Susan Chehardy on the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.  He also was involved in a year-long internship with the Port of New Orleans.

Chris's practice areas have included personal injury, property damage claims, criminal/traffic offenses, maritime disputes involving collisions, allisions, and charter party disputes, Longshore compensation claims, estate planning, and small business formation and assistance.

Chris’s pro bono work includes assisting clients at Common Ground Relief Legal Clinic, a lower ninth ward organization designed to help indigent residents with a variety of services.

His passions include playing music, travel, studying and teaching the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a black belt under 2012 Masters World Champion Matthias Meister, and reading anything he can get his hands on.
